The Ultimate Smoking Fetish Movie - Julie Simone’s Smoking Interviews 3

This bondage blog loves Julie Simone. Back in the day, I wrote about her, and interviewed her in Social Kink. She was nice enough to send me a review copy of her latest fetish movie, Smoking Interviews 3, and I was delighted with it.

Julie Simone is a triple threat in the adult industry. She’s an actress/model, a writer, and director (and editor too, and editing is a pain in the ass!) who makes movies that are among the best in their respective genres. Here’s what I love about Smoking Interviews 3.

  • The pacing. Julie takes her time establishing a scene. We all know the standard porno pacing of “suck/fuck/doggy/anal/facial”, and this goes out the window. Julie gives time to the fetish, not the sex… and for fetishists, that’s gold. Someone with a smoking fetish wants to see Gia Paloma smoking sexily. That’s the biggest difference, in my opinion, between real fetish content, and production porn.
  • Integration - Julie merges foot fetish, bondage, strap-on, double penetration, furries, naughty nurse, mummification, stockings, anal, and more… with the baseline smoking fetish scenes. That’s not only difficult (to give due attention to all the fetishes) but it’s smart. Smoking Interviews 3 is a smoking fetish movie specifically, but all those other fetishes are represented as well, making it a true fetish film.
  • Respect - You may not find sex in a bunny suit hot, but lots of people do, and Julie presents her Furry scene with the same attention to pacing and editing as all her other scenes. Again, I find that rare in many “fetish” films. In an industry where ten seconds of toe sucking counts as a Foot Fetish movie, the legitimacy is greatly appreciated.
  • Sexy - The scenes are hot. The women, Julie herself, Smoking Mary Jane, Gia Paloma, Naudia Nyce… all of them are sexy and believable. I believe that these women are indeed turned on by the scene, and that is the different between porn and fetish (in my opinion). The fucking is often secondary to the fetish itself. The smoking is the sex for the smoking fetishist.

You can watch Smoking Interviews 3 in our Video On Demand Theater, if you wish, but I would recommend buying the actual DVD, because Julie has packed it with extras and bonus footage, including interviews with the cast that are very enlightening.
